By now, maybe you’ve heard the name… maybe by now you’ve heard her voice and her music, certainly by now it’s time to experience her live!
Castella is as real as it gets, a rising star that people will instantly connect to… she’s ordinary, your homegirl, your co-worker, the girl next door… she has a smile that brightens up the room, a captivating, powerful, yet soothing voice that will make you stop and listen along with a genuine heart and spirit. She brings with her a story of triumph over life changes while encouraging her audience and fans to persevere and share their God given gifts.
A native of Long Beach California, Castella is a natural born singer. Now, she didn’t come from one of those musical families, but they did go to church and that’s where her voice was discovered and cultivated. She sang in choirs, groups and then graduated to singing solos. She’d sing anywhere asked… banquets, weddings, funerals, sporting events, always at no cost. A deep reflection revealed that a dream of singing and writing has always been there. During the second year as an HR Executive, through session work, she met Record Producer Darryl Swann. This chance meeting would change her life forever and spark a musical partnership that would catapult Castella into the stratosphere of dreams long deferred. Castella - The Singer, The Songwriter, The International Recording Artist was born!!
