CASTELLA is an award-winning vocalist from Long Beach, California, who made her radio debut in 2020 with the original single No Ordinary Love, earning a “Breakout Artist of 2020” nomination from Smooth Jazz Network. Since then, she’s released multiple chart-topping tracks including working alongside acclaimed producers Jeff Canady and Grammy-winner Darryl Swann. Earning her first award for the inaugural Central Standard Time Show Artist of the Year for 2020.
Her 2022 EP Let Me Love You featured fan favorites and remakes like So Into You, which topped charts across the UK, Canada, and Italy. In 2023, she released two more hit singles—I Saw You featuring Marqueal Jordan and Intoxicated Love, which was named Song of the Year by Black Planet Radio (Italy) and Cool Jazz Week (USA). Castella also won her first Indie Soul Award for I Saw You in 2024 which was followed up with her second Indie Soul Award for the hit single Nights Over Egypt featuring Ragan Whiteside in 2025. In 2025, Castella released the second song from her forthcoming EP “A Couple of Covers” - Hurt So Bad, which hit #1 in Canada and spent many weeks in the #1 position on the “Fresh Soul” playlist on SoulTracks. Castella also collaborated with The Jupiter Gallery for the hit single '“Sunset Drive” which spent two weeks at #1 on the UK Soul Chart. The song also hit #1 in Canada and on the Official Indie R&B Chart as well as Top 5 on many charts. It was a bonafide hit! With the 2025 performances, Castella became a Five time SoulTracks.com Reader’s Choice Award nominee with nominations in the Vocalist of the Year category and Song of the Year category along with The Jupiter Gallery. Castella also released her first Live recording of Silent Night Oh Holy Night featuring Hartmanni to close out an amazing year.
Castella became a member of the Recording Academy in 2024 and has served as Captain for Music Advocacy Day and also participated in Grammy U as a Mentor.
